WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE! The International Tortoise Association is dedicated to our work to ensure the welfare of tortoise, by providing care for sick and injured tortoise.
We promote a service of respect and responsibility towards these reptiles that are now in our country through no fault of their own. We provide support to pet owners by: Finding homes for tortoise if required or providing life long care at the sanctuary should owners become unable to provide this. Educating the public and owners in responsible care with regard to the laws relating to these animals. |

Access to the sanctuary for { all callers }
We would like to point out to anybody thinking of calling in to the sanctuary that you will need to ring for an appointment
first as we are not always available to receive callers due to the volume of work needed to keep the sanctuary running.
If you make an appointment this will need to be kept to no more than 15 minutes after your due time unless we are notified
so we can make sure there is a trustee or helper available to meet you in the office.
Without an appointment you will be unable to gain access to the sanctuary. Thank you.
